You obviously don't watch Road Wars or Police Camera Action. Montegos and Metros seem to be the most nickable motors.

I have a 1985 MG 2.0i with a digital dash that i have restored.
The dash came from a maestro.
The car has only done 35,000 from new and has full history.
Crap car really as it gets out dragged by a modern 1.2 corsa.
But it only costs £150 to insure and it takes me fishing once in a while.

next door neighbour is an MG nut and had a disgusting white Montego Turbo, it is putrid..
He also has an MG maestro turbo in green which is ok, but his worst car is a Metro 6r4 which he thinks looks good..
