I thought my chances were really high of being pregnant considering i missed two pills by accident, and had unprotected sex. Bu my period is due on thursday and i am bleeding now..spotting? I dont no i have been having symptoms of pregnancy and only today my nipples are kind of itchy and sore. I am regular when it comes to my period but when i asked about taking the pill when thinking your preg someone said not to incase it harms the baby so i stopped about 4 days ago and that could be why im bleeding right? i dont no but i usually have reli bad cramps on my period and right now they arent even reli there and the blood is brownish and when i wipe its red i saw a little bit of clotting and i was wondering if this could be spotting, and when can i test to see? the day i was supposed to get my period. Any answers would be helpful thanks!

If you stopped the pill before you started bleeding, then yes it is what probably caused your period to come on. Your body thinks you were pregnant (that's what the pill does) and when you stop the pill, your body thinks you are not pregnant and is time to have a period.

I would talk to your doc and get a blood test to be 100% sure you are not pregnant and the doc can advise you about when to start a new pack of pills

Remember to use a back-up method until you've been back on bc 30 days!!

you're bleedin because you stopped the birth control. you should have waiting until thursady to stop your birth control. iwas on bc and pregnant and nothing happened to my baby and i was on it for the firt 3 months because i didn't knwo i was preggers. especacilly if you're clotting that would not be implantation bleeding or anything. i don't think you're preggers but iw ould wait a week or so to test
