Keep up with oil changes every 3,000 miles, transmission fluid & filter replacements every 30,000 miles, your fuel & air filters every 30,000 miles, your coolant flushed every 40,000 miles, and last, but not least, your spark plugs replaced every 60,000 miles again, using only Ford/Motorcraft plugs (yes they are more pricey than aftermarket junk, but they are worth it). If you follow these guidelines RELIGIOUSLY, there is no reason the truck shouldn't last you more than DOUBLE the 150,000 miles.
