I have been dating a girl from United States of American residinging in New Mexico, Albuquerque for more than a month and today on 11th March 2007 the site administration adopted a policy that you can not connect anybody outside of your country and region.

The message " Your message cannot be sent:

This member is not accepting mail/flowers outside of their own area. Try emailing people within your own country.

I have clicked some oneline members and the same message appears again and again.
Last night I talked with her and sent her message and virtual flower and today suddenly all things changed.

The site administration has adopted discriminative and prejudice policy against Asian country members. The site is absolutely free and there was no restriction before 11th March 2007.

It hurt me alot and I want to take a strict action against them. Can anybody help in this matter. Anxiously and desperately waiting to hear from you

With regards

Mansoor Malik

What country are you located in?
Can't tell if your laws offer you protection if I do not know in what country you live.

It is definitely illegal to do that in the United States.
# Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (prohibiting race, color, and national origin discrimination)
# Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 (prohibiting sex discrimination)
# Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (prohibiting disability discrimination)
# Age Discrimination Act of 1975 (prohibiting age discrimination)

There is not much that can be done. You can complain if you want to the U.S Government, but I doubt it will help. As for the owner of the site he can restrict anyone he wants. You know like non-muslims can not do things in their country (like the intake of alcohol) and non-muslims must abide by these rules. Same goes for certain sites.

that sounds a little far-fetched..

however companies do reserve the right to service the people of their choice. It is a choice after all...the best way to get back at people like this though is through economic boycott, tell your friends not to be a customer of said service.

I hate wal-mart so I tell my friends.."dont shop at wal-mart"
if enough people get on the bandwagon, the wal-mart might go away from the town i live in etc..

but that's the jack daniels in me talking..
