Did it catch any of you off guard? Do you feel that this was done in an effort to conserve energy, or do you have other theories about it?

i think it's a pathetic attempt by republicans to dodge the global warming debate. It was apparently done to "conserve energy". Seems like the lazy way out to me.

It was for conservation of energy. I like it because now I can shop after work. I won't have to come home in the dark!

I love it!! We don't have to start turning on lights until later in the evening...now that it's getting warmer, I have more time to work in the yard...I don't have the sun shining in my eyes at 5:30 in the morning, etc. Yeah!!

I live in Arizona. We don't do daylight savings time ☺
