sex....and let him *** inside you...& do not get up after and this should get things started (if your body is ready-thinned some or some dialation... it will work -that or walking)

note of warning .... do not do the castor oil thing if something bad happens you can be held responsible!

This may be a little embarrassing...but being almost full term, I'm sure you've heard and seen enough to not turn red when you hear my answer:

Have your man (or you can do this yourself, if he's not readily available) rub your nipples. Nipple stimulation releases a natural petocyn to get the ball rolling.

On the same note, sex helps. Although, you may not feel in the mood at the moment.

Take a brisk walk (really get your arms moving).

And my favorite because it doesn't involve much exertion on my part: Eat something spicy.

I think Michelle is right ! I know ,kinda weird ,but my doctor told me to do that AFTER my daughter was born to help have contraction to push out placenta , because without baby in there you really don't have contractions any more and if you don't have contractions you can't push ! It had to come out so I had my husband do it and it really worked !! and that was in a room full of people, you know , doctor , nurses ,and stuff. The point is , IT WORKED . It will give you contractions ! Sex is always good too ! Good Luck and congratulations on your "almost" new baby !

They say that sex is the best thing as some of the ingredients in it loosen the cervix. The others are spicy food and long walks but doubt the long walks sound appealing to you! I do feel for you and hope this helps.

Wait until the baby's ready. You better get used to putting your own comfort aside because it will happen a lot once the baby's born.

Drink 2 tbs castor oil and then take an enema, both contracts the bowls causing labor to start. Repeat in 4 hours if necessary.
