I have pretty good skin, a few pimples here & there on my nose & forehead but other than that I like my skin. However, at night & aafter working out my skin feels SOO oily!! So i have tried soo man face washs' here is what I have used:
Sea breeze (ok, but too drying)
St. Ives (Didn't see much difference)
Clean & clear microbead cleanser (ok)
Noxzema citrus (works great, HATE the smell!!)
Biore warming scrub (no difference)
Biore ice cooling scrub (no difference)
Now I am almost out of face wash's, so I will need a new one.
I like clean & clear, but there are TOO Many choices!!! I am thinking about the Morning burst one, it looks good. Also thr neutrogena Acne stress control looks good too. Should I get both,1 for the sink 1 for the shower? or just use one. I don't feel like paying $35 for a FACE WASH like at Clinique or something like that. Thanks

What many people aren't aware of is most soaps and cleansers on the market contain mineral oil, the molecular structure of which is too large to penetrate into the pores of our skin so it sits on the top layer like saran wrap. These give a temporary feeling of softness and have little to no benefit. They also contain harmful ingredients such as alcohol, wax, dyes, chemicals, fragrances, etc which strip your skins acid mantel (its protective layer) and causes irritation, dryness, skin problems. Arbonne is a Swiss company that is regulated by the FDA and formulates their products without the ingredients listed above. Their products are botanically based and beneficial for all skin types. The right skin care regimen with natural and beneficial products will help you.May I suggest Arbonne's NutriMinC Re9 line? It's made with nanosphere technology and is specifically formulated to meet the needs of people with different skin types (including combination skin). It acts like a computer chip and reads your skin applying the right amount of moisture, vitamins, and minerals where your skin needs it most. They have a hydrating wash, balancing toner, facial serum, eye creme, day creme, and night creme, all of which are pure, safe, and beneficial. I LOVE it! I've been using it for a year and haven't run into any problems.
If you're open to trying a free sample, I'll be happy to send you one.

Whatever facial cleanser you buy, just make sure you buy the one specifically designed for oily skin. Try to use less creamy lotion after, but you should not stay away from lotion. It helps you in the long run. I'm a bit more high maintainance than average, thus I suggest you buy Shiseido Pureness Deep Cleansing Foam. It's less than $20 at Macy's or others. Also, I suggest you use the lotion from Pureness line. I was approaching 20 when I used it. My skin was always oily, and a bit acne prone. This line really helped balance my skin. Now I'm older, my skin is less oily, but still in the T-zone. I no longer use the Pureness line since I'm not acne prone anymore. I move up to Sisley de Paris which is sold at Neiman Marcus. In love with the line, it makes my skin so clear and supple. But for now, you should consider Shiseido's Pureness line for your skin. By the way, consider using toner, but stay away from alcohol astringent, the more alcohol it has, the more it dries out your skin, and your pores will produce more sebum (oil) try to balance the skin surface, and that would make it even worse than when you start out. Be careful!
Wish you luck!

I use clinique now and it's actually 12.00 bux. But if you want to use drugstores brand try the Biore Oil Control or Blemish clensers. Also, make sure to use a toner or an astringent. I noticed that when using a toner my face is way less oily. Also, if you have delicate skin.... try using a baby wash like Johnson's Baby wash. Seriously!!! It is soooo mild and if you have sensitive skin... it works wonders.

Okay. you say your skin is very oily, i reccomend oil-blotting sheets. They are sheets and whenever your skin feels very oily, you take one and blot off any excess oil.
Cetaphil is also supposedly a great face-wash for oily skin and it doesnt dry skin out.
