It's like here in the UK a f aggot is a meatball made of pork, liver and onions, wrapped up in a stomach membranes. It's also a bundle of wood used on fires. I bet many americans don't realise what fanny means over here either.

When i was 12 i moved from england and was living in texas and went on a road trip to vegas with my family. I had started smoking and made a major mistake by asking a kid my age if i could borrow a cigarette, i knew that american equivalent of blag was bum and before i had time to think i had said 'can i.........'bum a f ag'.......mate?'
