In the future, you got into a time-machine and went back to your childhood. When you get there, you save a man's life, however, you and your parents walk around the corner and both your parents are shot dead. Then the kid you is sent to the orphanage and you feel sorry for "yourself" and decide to raise your child but never tell them who you really are. Do you think you would like being your own parent but not knowing it, and how would life be different?

Even if time travel existed, I don't think the current you and the past you can co exisit at the same time. Anything that would alter your past would also affect your future and current state of being.
Ie. if your past you, had your appendix removed, your current self would also be minus an appendix. So if your past self lost his parents as a child, the current you would have grown up without parents.

You couldn't do that because if the adult you stayed in the past to raise the child you, the adult you wouldn't be in the future to go back to save the man's life and the parents wouldn't have been killed and the child you would have never been orphaned....and on and on....
BUT..if it were possible...I would have fed my brain a lot more and sent me to better schools and given me more opportunities to learn more. Lots of extras, like learning to play guitar...dance...etc

wouldnt happen, if you were to go into the past or future you cant interact with anyone or anything because there would be too much possiblity to warp the future into a chaotic mess.... and i only care about one of my parents because i only know one... plus it wouldnt be legal to adopt a child when you not only dont have a license for that, but the police need to have some records of you and since they wont, you would get arrested the FBI would try to get all kinds of info about you....

Those are Head Games 99.9% of the population do not need. It is waaaaay in the future and will absolutely not effect your life. So why worry
