I find it odd that she has no qualm dropping the proverbial F-bomb in reference to another politician, yet when you sign up to access the message board on her website, this is one of the requirements:

You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-oriented or any other material that may violate any applicable laws.

(Shouldn't she practice what she preaches with her own speech?)

Peace: I think the reason she is taken so seriously is because she's more [physically] attractive than Rush Limbaugh, admittedly. I don't think she would be paid attention to if she weren't as photogenic as she is. (Although, even that is not going to save her, this time - I think she earned the wrath of Republicans and Democrats alike in this case.)

C123456.. If she tells people that they can't do something, and then turns around and does the very thing she said not to do, how is that NOT hypocrisy?

Matt - I think she walked in a proverbial house that really did want her to take her shoes off, considering the reaction she's getting. While I won't disagree that there haven't been liberals who have used similar language, I don't think that it justifies her usage of it. (It's not like with Bush, either - he at least can argue he didn't realize the microphone was on at the time.)

Godlyteen: Okay, we're going to pretend that you were being sarcastic. I hope so! (If you honestly can't see how said word would fall under said designation, that's not good.)

Teen - You know what they say - it's better to remain silent and let people think you're mentally diminished, then to speak up, and remove all doubt in their mind.

I'm terribly sorry! I missed the part where FAAAGGOT fell under "abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-oriented or any other material that may violate any applicable laws"!!!

Have we really become THAT politically correct?

Actually, I was serious! I say FAAAGGOT in front of my friends and at school all the time! And guess what? NOBODY CARES!!! I've had 1 or 2 teachers object, but that's it!

FAAAGGOT is not a bad word! Gay-loving communists like you MADE it a bad word!

Perhaps the problem is a matter of difference of rules. If you come over my house, I expect you to take off your shoes when you walk around my house because I dont want what is on the bottom of your shoes all over my house. But on the flipside, when I am visiting a friends house and they have no such rule, I will wear my shoes if I believe they are clean enough not to make marks.

What Ann said is nothing compared to what Ive heard come out of the liberals' mouths the last 7 years.

*Of course* she's a hypocrite. A mean one, at that. The more disturbing issue is the fact that she has legions of fans who buy her books and watch her appearances. That worries me...america is becoming full of hypocrites. Or full of people who think her type of vitriol is the same thing as political discourse...I'm not sure which is more disturbing.

Not sure what she is. I can say she has come up with absolutely some of the dumbest quotes I have ever heard. Would anyone actually give a damn about her if she didn't spew outrageous mindless garbage?

Hey her forum, her posting rules.

Notice that it ends with "that may violate applicable laws"

See, she doesnt want to have to get liberals sent to jail, just because they can't control what they say in an email.

She really cares.

She is the best actor presenting the Right wing's rebuttal to the Vagina Monologues.

They call it the ANUS MONOLOGUES and Ann recites many of the best ones about assholes and the components of being an asshole.

*lol*

Good preachers practice what they preach, or at least make their very best effort to try (I'm a double pk and my parents definitely do their absolute best to practice what they preach).

Ann Coulter, than, by that definition, must not be a very good preacher at all. Why do so many people worship at her altar?
