When service ...?

restaurant, store, wherever... is not to what you'd expect it to be, do you quietly pay and leave, or do you raise a stink?

Quietly leave and swear to never come back. My husband on the other hand, I can't take him anywhere. And his father is known to throw food back at them through the drive-thru window. Embarrassing.

Hell, just walk out and go elsewhere if its a store !
A restaurant is a little trickier, If the service is slow and the food is disgusting, I gripe to the waiter or waitress, if they
try and help out, I leave them a tip. If they couldn't care less, no tip.

Quietly pay and leave. Tip accordingly. I can't stand people who go out of their way to cause a scene and avoid paying.

I let the manager know what thr problem was...if it's really bad (say in a restaurant) I don't expect to pay full price for bad service or rotten food...

my family usually just pays and leaves, but there was one time when we went somewhere with my uncle and the waiter though we were joking about our drink orders and he kept making incoherent jokes and my uncle i guess raised a stink? lol =) he has to have everything perfect and i guess he thought the waiter was ignorant :)

I dont make a big deal out of it, because thats the way it is. Besides, we are the ones who excpected it to be a certain way.

I pay but I do tell them how dissatisfied I was and that I won't be back.
