yes, germany has daylight saving time, unfortunatly i don't know where you are at now.... not smart enough to figure that one out right now... i'm on the east cost and germany is normaly 6hrs form here, i guess you are on est too...
daylight savings time always take place the last weekend in March in germany and last weekend in Oct.
So until than it's 5hrs difference from Eastern time. they change the time March 25th at 2am and change it back the last sunday morning in october.

Yes, Germany will be putting the clocks an hour ahead on March 25th which is two weeks later than in the States. So during those two weeks you will be 5 hours behind them opposed to normal 6 hours if for example you live in Eastern US and your friends lives in Germany.

Yes, we are also switching. Europe switches to DST on 3/25 and ends on 10/28 this year.
