I live in Britain, we don't raise an eyebrow if there's hair in our food, it just improves the sense of misery and righteous indignation we can induge in. I've certainly had hairs, both straight and curly, I've had mould on pizzas. We tend to go along with the restauranters creed that in Britain, the customer is always pond-scum.

My wife, however, is American. A couple of months ago, we went out for lunch to a spaghetti house. My wife was halfway through her entree when she found what was unmistakably the "shell" of a ladybug in her pasta. The manageress thought at first she was dealing with a Brit, and told my wife sternly to "Eat it, just eat it!" She didn't of course; she went out onto the street and called out to passersby not to eat there unless they liked bugs. The manageress still wouldn't let us leave till we'd paid though.

Sure, many times. It's disgusting, no doubt. I have found that the hair in the burger is quite usual, but when you find a long one wrapped several times around the wiener in your hot dog...that is when I begin to turn green.

Yes, I found a foot long hair in my Big Mac when I was in junior high. I was so grossed out that I didn't eat there for a long time. But now I hate Mcdonald's for a whole 'nother reason.

Like one time, whilst i become youthful, i become ingesting Pepsi, and it tasted strange. So I dumped the glass down the drain, and guess what I observed? ANTS. FREAKING ANTS, rattling it. I dumped something of the bottle down the drain, and guess what? extra ANTS. Ugh, whether this is been years for the reason that then, I nonetheless get unwell thinkin' approximately it!

Yep, and everytime I complained about it, I got free food from which ever resturant or company was responsible for it. Hey, a closed mouth doesn't get fed.
