I want to change my NAT from moderate to open.

On by Xbox 360, I ran the network tests and it displayed Strict or Moderate under my NAT settings. I need to open it in order to play online and host online games as well.

Umm, I have never heard of 'Open' or 'Moderate' in terms of NAT on a Linksys router. I only know ON or OFF (or PAT) Is this setting on the router or on your device?

Not sure exactly what you mean, NAT (network address translation) is either on of off. If you dont want to run NAT just turn off DHCP and let you computers get the addressing from the WAN side. However, if your ISP doesnt supply but one address then this wont work!

You can use "port forwarding" and pass WAN to LAN traffic based on ports. You can set one machine as a DMZ meaning it is wide open to the internet (all inbound internet traffic will be sent to it) But you really cant just have "Open NAT" If you can let me know how cause a router needs to route traffic somehow.
