I'm looking into a Psychology degree and I'd also like to be in the medical field. What paths can I take? I'm willing to go to grad school but I'm only running a 3.3 GPA.

well, these days most grad schools require you to have a some background on psychology so you are on the right path. however, it really depends what your science gpa is... with your 3.3 gpa, i'm sure you will get into some schools, but it depends what your choices for those school are... it also depends if you have met the requirements for the field you are looking for... i would say, with your degree and gpa, why doon't you look into cognitive science? human development? in that area? i am sure that your psychology background will help a lot.

hope this helped
good luck

Maybe take a few science courses at a local CC, and speak to one of the counselors about your options. Clinical SW is a good idea also. 3.3 should be able to get you into a good program. Just try to do things that will make you more competitive.

You might look into medical social work (clinical). The Master's program is not always required, but you have more marketability with it. Obviously counseling is always an option. Research. Human resources. Child specialties for children's hospitals.

Consider what you enjoy working with, maybe who.
