I'm sorry to hear about that. My mum passed away back in October 2005. We did the same as you about 1 1/2 before moving on, you don't want it to drag, 1 bit at a time, but leave a FEW things for his memery, but try to move on. xxx

WOW, you didn't love him very much huh? No for real, two weeks might be adequate time. I mean it really comes down to how well you deal with things. Now, if you started dating right away even two weeks, I'd have to go back to my initial comment. But to go about with your daily business like work and what not two weeks is enough if you can handle it. If you did just lose your husband may God bless you and I'm sorry for your lose.

Wow only two weeks? It's been eight months since my ex broke up with me and I'm still not completely over it and he is still alive. You're not much of a grieving widow are you?

Erm, it depends on what your definition of grief is. I'm sure it will take a lot longer than 2 weeks to recover from the death of a loved one.

You never really stop but with time it will ease. You take just as long as you need. Dont let anyone tell you different.

Ask your boyfriend, he should know. Or, to be on the safe side, better check with the attorney who made out his will. Check the fine print.
