work experience/courses?

Hi, im going to uni in a year and a half, and my teachers keep on going on about it all the time! anyway i ve taken sometime to look at what i want to do. i would like to do a buisness course or maybe history, to do a job in finance such as a stock broker or maybe a journalist if i take history. Anyway, im not the most confident of people, and i would like to overcome that by having some work experience or taking a course in buisness skills. Firstly, does anyone know, like a summer course, that someone does, where you can learn buisness skills and communication etc, because you dont really learn these skills at college. Also does anyone know any good companies in norwich area, that would be good for work experience in the field? One final thing, is anyone whose taken any buisness course at university, what are they like? and which one would be good to take? Thanks
