Oh man. There is allot of great hotels in Mumbia, mostly 5 star, but they can cost up to $400.00. After all, this is like India's Hollywood. If I were you, I would stay at the Hilton Towers Mumbai. It looks like a five star, but only costs you 200.00 per night. I know you're saying what!!! But just think about the prices in Hollywood, 500.00. Pulse, you got a whole bunch of stuff in the hotel. The Hilton Towers Mumbai is an ultra-modern high-rise hotel with its own huge shopping arcade, towering over the Arabian Sea in the city's business district. This 22-floor hotel features 575 guestrooms, all of which include air conditioning, satellite television, Internet connections and minibars.
Guests can cool off in the outdoor pool, which overlooks the ocean below, or relax on loungers with a drink. For some extra pampering, the hotel houses a hair salon and a range of beauty services are offered on site. The hotel complex is home to the largest indoor shopping arcade in India, with 250 shops selling a variety of items ranging from jewelery to clothes and antiques. Check out these cool pictures at the address below. Have a good time.

There are no 3to4 star hotels close by to Malad (E) near the place you have specified. Infact there are no good hotels there and those that are there are not star hotels. The best hotels are at the further end of Malad i.e. near Marve and Madh island. These are "the Retreat" and "Resort" which are 4 and 5 star hotels.
