i really want IM, but my parenst wont let me, what should i tell them to persuade them to let me get it? and does it cost anything?and how would you get it?

well I told my parents I would not talk to strangers and that they can check all my messeges and all my friends

It maybe that they don't really understand it, ask them why and tell them that they can set it up and see who you are talking to. They are doing this for your protection, remember that K, ask them be open with them always.
It doesn't cost you anything if you have Internet, there are different IM's ask you mom or dad to sit down with you and check them out, it is just a download.

Well being on the internet cost you money, and im si on the internet...i think....yaeh it is!!! I want it to, but i am so nervous bc the people out there and on the news what i here...

You could raise your on money or impress them with something. You could make a deal with them and say, I'll pay half the money or I'll do this and you buy it for me. You know, compromise.

it is totally free. And you can make it so that no one would kno who u r without u telling them. It is totally safe and totally fun. It is very convienient for quick questions and ur not stuck on the phone.

tell them about MSN iming...only youre friends that you approve for the im will be able to im them and if they whant they can go to hotmail.com and see what it is for themselves...

to start with you could tell them to choose the password so only they could control it and promise to not use it unless they are there
