Why have morals been thrown out the window?

Because people choose to be immoral.They consider it more fun.No one ever really counts the
cost of evil before it's too late.

I don't see this happening in any way, shape or form. Just because morals change does not mean they are being discarded entirely. Things would be in utter chaos if they were. The only change I really see is sexual in nature. And I don't necessarily think it's changed in a bad way.

I think most people have a strange view of the past that is tainted. Things weren't safer or more pure back then. That's just the image that people think of. We are less violent now then in the past (criminally speaking) beyond question. It's just that there is a larger spanning media presence now that goes into a frenzy over any violence or what not whereas in the past lots of violence went unreported.

Your idea of morals arent necessarily the same as everyone elses.

Maybe your morals arent what most people agree with.

Everyone has a right to live the way they want to, including you. No-one is forcing you to live by their morals, extend to them the same basic respect.

When you find out the answer to this , along with where has respect for elders and authority gone, please let me know. Saw the video on the news of the 101 yr old lady getting beat while her purse was mugged, and about a man sexually molesting a 1 year old. What is the matter with people !!!! It seems to be a sick society lately.

Probably because it's easier to live without morals and standards and self-control.
