Not everyone is the same. Not everyone is comfortable talking out problems. Not everyone is comfortable talking through text messages. Some people take longer to process an emotional situation than others do.

I suggest you tell your friend that you would like to work on this problem with her. But, you respect her and do not want to pressure her into doing something she doesn't feel comfortable facing. Let her know that when she's ready to talk (or text) you'll be there for her. She may want to discuss it with you then. Or she may feel more comfortable waiting. As a friend, you will respect her way of dealing with this.

Expecting her to do things on your timetable or your way on demand is not being a friend.

Good luck.

If you want your friend back in your life, then you are going to have to open the door for one on one conversation. Friends are hard to get, but they are harder to keep. The longer you let it go and wait, the harder it will be to fix it. Don't ignore it, but create a situation where you will be together, shopping, lunch, something you both enjoy doing, make it happen, and when she realizes that you want to fix it too, then address it head on. Friends have to be able to talk to each other, and trust that when the other does not like what they hear, it will be okay.

It is always best to talk things over in person. You will have the advantage of seeing each others facial expressions, which often lets you know if the person is being sincere. Texting is not the greatest way of communicating, but if it is your only option, then go for it.

corner her and force her to talk it out. it sounds like the way she was raised was to ignore things and not communicate. she will feel better after working it out face to face. if it doesnt work, she wont be a good friend to you anyhow

YOu have to take the iniciative to talk to her. ONce you can get together, make sure you're explaining your feeling and vice versa. don't be afraid to tell that you need her to talk more, but tell her it's because you really want to save your friendship
