If you're playing The Sims 2 on PC, you can go to www.thesims2.com and go to the exchange. There you can download clothes, hair, full sims, heads, items, lots, pets, and stories for your game. If you're playing on a console, like PS2, you have to unlock the clothes by getting your relationship with someone wearing the locked item up to 100.

The best sites I have found are http://www.modthesims2.com and http://www.thesimsresource.com but there are hundreds of sites. The official Sims 2 website lists a lot of fansites with downloads too. Remember tho if you load up your game w/custom content you have to watch for hacks which can cause problems, and also having too much stuff will make your game run slowwww.

well... while in the game you go to a shop in the neihborhood and can buy new clothes. you could go to www.thesims2.com and exchange new clothing that other people have made. you can also make your own. if you have the sims 2 body shop and paint shop pro you can go in a create new clothing, skins, eyes, and accesories. its awsome. theres a good tortorial on how to do that at www.thesims2.com in the help section. hope i helped!!

Really i don't even know u buy clothes then go to the um.... dresser and change clothes i haven't played that game before
