thenextj (below) I've never heard of a "toe" truck or "toeing" something behind you. I have heard of a "tow" truck and towing (pulling) objects.

Thanks for sharing back at you. (neo-cons)

When you have political extremes both sides of the aisle will ignore those who do not agree completely.
Extremism from either side is dangerous, what makes it worse is when the extremists get into power and think they speak for everyone.

Do you think that neo-con means hard right? It doesn't.
Neo-con is more liberal than a hard right conservative.

I don't toe much of the neo-con line I don't have very much tolerance for lib social programs and I am hard right.

The prefix neo- refers to two ways in which neoconservatism was new. First, many of the movement's founders, originally liberals, Democrats or from socialist backgrounds, were new to conservatism. Also, neoconservatism was a comparatively recent strain of conservative socio-political thought. It derived from a variety of intellectual roots in the decades following World War II, including literary criticism and the social sciences.

I'm getting quite tired of being called non-patriotic, un-American, wanting our country to be an Islamic state, being an American hater, etc. I'm tired of these accusations.

I believe that is "toe".

But thanks for sharing.

Edit: Nice try there chi, but once again, you are a victim of your own research, or lack there of...

"Toe the line" is an idiomatic expression with disputed origins. It is often equated to "toe the mark," which has the same meaning: to conform to a rule or a standard.

Again, thanks for sharing!
