I am sick of hearing...you are...so you should be... How come everyone basis what they do in their lives on how long they've been here?? Has anyone ever heard of mid life crisis...there is a reason for it and I think this is it. It's very frustrating and something that people need to put more thought into...cause some of the dumbest and most inexperienced people have been here a long time and some of the smartest haven't even been born yet. Do you agree or not...let me know

It would be nice if age=experience, but it doesn't. I've met wise kids and stupid old people.

A lot of who you are is shaped early in life, so if you had a bad childhood (like me), you either turn out to be a crappy adult or you live in denial or you go to therapy twice a week like I do.

Personally, I despise it when people are like, well, you're 28, so why don't you have: a house, a great job, a husband, kids, a nice car, a...whatever. Get off my case, you materialistic bastards! I'll get it when I'm ready for it.

I don't like people living vicariously through me. Let me be a basketcase without reminding me of what I don't have even though I've reached the ripe old age of 28.

Grrrr.

It isn't so much age that's the determining factor. But the wisdom that has been accumulated throughout their years lived. It's the culmination of experience, age, and sound judgment. We that are older have seen and experienced much more than anyone who is younger.

History books are sometimes very inaccurate and the educational boards will buy those where the facts have been changed.

So, I do agree in part..but the 'age' factor is not all inclusive.

agree, its like that because of our culture and how we assume that with age comes experience.
