From what I've heard, the EPT aren't as 'error proof' as they claim. They aren't as sensitive to the horomones as other HPT are. Best bet would be to go buy a different brand.
Good luck!

Yes, they work. Even if a pregnancy test gives you a positive answer you should make an appt with a doctor anyway to be sure you really are and to take the right steps to continue a healthy pregnancy. If it gives you a negative answer, wait and if you still don't get a period then I would go see your doctor and have him/her check out the situation.

I dislike EPT to no end.
I took one when I was 8 days late, and I used first morning urine like the box said....and it was negative.
Later that same day I used a Clear Blue Easy digital after only holding my urine for an hour and it came up positive.

I don't know about EPT but get the ClearBlue easy digital test it is way more accurate than the others. I bought mine from Wal-mart for $10 it came with two.

Here's a site with home pregnancy tests rated:
http://www.peeonastick.com/hpts.html
EPT Certainty is not preferred because of the risk of false positives. You'd be better off going to Dollar Tree and getting a test there (you have to pee in a cup though, so get a few dixie cups too, lol.)

Take a 3rd, tie breaker test and use the first pee of the morning. To be honest, i got a $1 test from Dollar General and got a positve result (and yes i am really preggers). So maybe you should go buy 5 or six dollar store tests...
