alt is to the left of the space bar
tab is above the Caps Lock
Hold down the alt with your left thumb and then (still holding the alt) hit the tab with your middle finger.
Voila!

Sam, TAB is theone with 2 arrows on, just above the caps lock. Alt is 3rd from the bottem left. I thought you knew that!

Just to be a little niggley... most PC keyboards have an ALT at EITHER end of the space bar.

alt+tab is blend of keys used to swap between abode windows or website abode windows whilst working with internet Explorer. its an uncomplicated thank you to swap between pages or abode windows with out minimising the present window

alt is the one that says alt on it, thats A-L-T, tab says tab on it, T-A-B

Yeah, Leah is right. Hold them down at the same time though and you will see the PowerToy. That's how you switch from one open application to another, but you have to have at least two open to see it.
