Marilynn Monroe was a pin-up/ actress in the 1950s. She was one of the most admired of pin-ups and was in the first edition for Plyboy and Hugh Heffner. She did win an Academy Award (Oscar) and was known to have a great connection with the camera and audience.
She died before her time, and her death is still a some-what mystery. She was found with a large ammount of sleeping pills in her system. She also MAY have had an affair with JFK (if you know who that is). There is ideas of conspiracy or even murder.

Marilyn Manson is a singer like Shirley Manson who shouldn't be confused with Shirley Bassey who is also a singer but not quite the same as Count Basie who was more into jazz who has nothing to do with Counting Crows....oh....I'm too tired to continue....sorry! You must be talking about Marylin Monroe, the blond actress and entertainer during the 1950's and 60's. There is a movie about her staring Ashley Judd.
