The elitists are trying to control the economy and technology and resources of the world.
This movement has been gaining momentum within BOTH political parties.
GHW, Clinton, GW and many others want to take the US to the Haves and the have nots.
No more middle class.
Just there peers and those who serve them---much like the Saudis.

We need government officials who have the US best interests at heart not the elite's interests.

We are all Americans and we all were born with the same rights under the constitution!!!!

The homeless person on the street is as much of American as the person sitting in the Oval office.

We need to put America first!

Now---how do we stop this move towards a New World Order?
Or a Project for a New American Century?

Thank you, thank you, thank you, and thank you again for asking this question.

I don't know how many ways I can ask and say over and over that it is not the immigrants, the poor, those on welfare, that we need to be worried about. These issues are simply ones that the rich use to manipulate us to turn our focus against each other, because if we stopped turning against each other, we might very well start looking up, to the misdeeds of the rich and elite who are everyday stealing money off of the backs of American and overseas workers, who are starting wars to increase wealth, who are even tearing down the infrastructure of weaker nations so that they can privatize the resources and increase their wealth, yet again off of the backs of the poor.

But unfortunately, too many of the people who answer this question will probably tell you about how wonderfully golden-hearted all rich people are, and how they definitely have our best interests at heart (at least, that is the kind of response I usually get when I pose questions such as this one!)

So far I was wrong about the responses people gave, and I am quite glad to see it, note it, admit it, and hope that it bodes well for the future.

Think you mean United Statesians not Americans. Your post would not make sense if you meant Americans, United Statesian Americans have the US constitution but Americans born in Bolivia have a completely different constitution.

You see, there is no such a thing as ‘American’ nationality, America is not a nation America is a continent with many nations in it. The US never named itself the name of the United States is a designation it comes from the end of the Declaration of Independence, "WE, therefore, the Representatives of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, in GENERAL CONGRESS, Assembled...". The preamble to the U.S. Constitution reiterated the phrase: "We the People of the United States..." (The authors of these two documents probably used the phrase "united states" in place of a list of colonies/states because they remained uncertain at the time of drafting which colonies/states would sign off on the sentiments therein.) The geographic term "America" specifies the states' home on the American continent.

It is therefor incorrect to refer to US citizens as Americans with the intent of denoting citizenship, or the United States as America with the intent of denoting a nation. Americans have a term for US citizens, we are called United Statesians by the rest of Americans, to say American with the intent of denoting citizenship or America when we mean the United States reflects poorly on our attitude towards the 70% of Americans that are not United Statesians.

Also, although some people would like to believe that America is not one but two continents, North America and South America. If you think about it though, the term U.S. of A. is a glaring example that this line of thought is incorrect, if America was two continents instead of one, shouldn’t it be U.S. of N.A. (North America)? We say Columbus discovered..... ? AMERICA, not South America or North America.

Lastly, while everybody in America from Nome to Patagonia, from Easter Island to Greenland is an American, not every United Statesian is an American. For instance, Hawaiians are as United Statesians as they come, but they ARE NOT Americans, they are Pacific Islanders.

That said, I agree with the sentiment of your question.

Hope that helps.

So, you think the problem is fanatics, who hold their beliefs so strongly that they are not willing to listen to opposition, and who attack anyone who doesn't agree with them?

And you think that by electing people who are not fanatics, who are interested in solutions, we can actually make things better?

Works for me.
