I had my ears peiced 11 days ago and I wanna to wear other ones. I know I'm not supposed to take them out for 6 weeks, but my friend said the only reason that is, is coz it mite close up. As long as I don't wear the other ones for too long and put these ones back in. So if I take them out and put in different ones in will that be ok? Even if they aren't genuine? And if I left them out, after how long would they start to close up?

yeah, i got my ears pierced for the first time in like december. and i wanted one ear repierced since they looked uneven, and once i took out my earring, it started closing up in a day.
so don't take them out for too long if you do take them out. Earrings that arent genuine can also cause an infection. Plus it hurts to take them out depending on what kind of earring you have right now.
Also, since your ears are just really recently pierced, its really hard to take them out and put another earring in because the holes are new, and you cant always get the earring all the way through. The studs you probably have now are designed to make just the right size hole and not cause an infection, so I would leave them in for at least 2 more weeks.
Trust me, I had the same idea as you and wanted to take mine out, but it bled a lot and was hard to put back in.
So like everyone else was saying, just leave them in for now.

Okay, the rule of the thumb is six weeks. So you can let the proper healing take place. If you take it out to early the hole can start closing in as little as an good overnight sleep. Trust me, the back of your ear will close up first, then you will have to push the ear ring through which might be painful and leave you with some tissue wiping the blood up. Also, putting in fake or costume jewelry in your ear can cause a rash if you happen to be allergic to it. Why start off using the wrong procedures it could cause you to have an ear infection, or big nasty **** all along your ear. That is so disgusting because no one will want to kiss or whisper something in your ear.

I don't think you should. The earrings you got when you got your ears pierced are meant to stay in for at least six weeks. If you do take them out, and put in another pair, the holes could still close up. You could, i guess, if you put the original ones back in after a little while, but i wouldn't, just to be safe.
hope i helped!

alrighty, although I recommend waiting because you could get an infection if you absolutely can't wait to put in new earrings here's the deal...so it depends on the type of earring, it should be a stud and nothing that will break you out. (no cheap-o Claire's earrings b/c you don't know if you are allergic yet), and make sure that you sterilize the earring with rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide because you could get a super bad infection...but i hope that you will change you mind and leave those earrings in!

so you got it pierced 11 days ago if you leave out for more than 2 hours you will most likely have it closed up and just until it has been a month to change it or after a while it will get infected.

I think you should keep the studs in, for sure. I had my ears peirced years ago, and after my six weeks I took them out to sleep, and the next morning I had trouble putting them in. Six weeks go pretty quickly, so just concentrate on taking care of your ears and shopping for cute new earrings!

NO WAY... u have to wait at least 6 weeks be4 you can take your earings out

if you take them out they could get infected.. and done put fake earings in untill it is past those 6 weeks bc your new hole might get sensitive and that isnt good.
