Gullable i'd say. Global warming has nothing to do with us humans. We create a very minute proportion co2. Compared to say, volcaoes, water itself, falling rotting vegitation etc. etc. I could go on. Experts on this are largly ignored or ridiculed by goverment authorities. Global warming is a natural progression of the earth's cycle and should not cause alarm. Media hype is playing into the hands of western goverments to create more taxation on this ridiculous idea of global warming. Oh yes, its costing us, in our pockets. So yes, any organization who believes this crap are either gullable or are in it for there own political gain.

I use to be a Greenpeace member 20 years ago. I realized what the Greenpeace organization was. It was nothing but a money machine for a few at the top. There is global warming. Think about this question: What happened to the ice age? Obviously it melted without the help from mankind. The earth has been warming up ever since it was created. Mankind has no effect on the global warming dealy. So the scare tactics are just that.......and there are a lot of gullible people that will believe those tactics.

You are absolutely right; the earth does have natural cycles. What happens is, the earth slowly warms up, and then cools, adapting to the gradual changes in temperature, and so the planet is able to survive without rapid, dramatic changes that devastate life.

So what is global warming? Global warming is that warming in the cycle, but humans have made it faster and bigger - so the earth doesn't have time to adapt. Then we end up with situations like in the "scare stories".

Greenpeace do a honest job, protecting our environment, not just to do with global warming, but from pollution, litter, industry. This grammatically incorrect and badly spelt question is ignorant, and is not really much of a question, but a way of showing how you dislike an organisation because your political idols told you to.

Neither - they are expressing real concerns about the environment.

You are stupid to say there is no global warming - that's fact. The data shows the temperature rise. So is global warming part of a normal cycle, or is it due to human activity? I don't know, scientists don't know (they have different beliefs, but they don't KNOW) and you certainly don't know.

Whatever the cause, would looking for renewable sources of energy and conserving energy sources we already have actually be a bad thing?

Too many people want to deny the existence of global warming because that absolves them from actually doing anything.

Gullible Fools, if the world was warmer during Roman times then where is the problem??? Of course the Romans did not think to tax carbon emissions or there would have been a hearth tax, come to think of it the EU has come out of the treaty of Rome, so watch out for the Legions appearing at the borders.

You have no idea what Green Peace is, do you? Or that they have been around for decades before the current debate about global warming?
By the way. Are you talking about the suns normal cycle because you are an expert on astronomy and its affects on climate? Or did you hear that on talk radio?

Why is it that global warming is the only thing people consider when it comes to the environment.

We are running out of fossil fuels have poisoned the oceans, rivers and steams. We've decimated nature and killed over huge numbers of species and have basically run out of landfill space. Please people do not let one debate over global warming stop people thinking of the planets other issues!

Greenpeace do a job that no one else is prepared to do and they try and highlight to the world what we are doing!

There is considerable damage to the ozone layer and the melting of the polar caps.I have been into conservation for many years so know the devastation this causes globally.
Greenpeace do a fantastic job in everything they do often in very dangerous surroundings.
In our time we need to change our attitudes towards a greener lifestyle and reduce global warming,or leave the legacy of devastation for your generations to come.

uh, neither.

if you see al gore's movie you will see what the real threat is.

but since he is not a neoconservative, i'm sure you will never consider this.

it's a pity, but i'm glad that you are so different than i am.

hopefully, future generations will realize that only part of the current population of america is willfully stuck in the dark ages...

David, you are in the minority of those who investigate scientific phenomenon. The "scare" stories are provided to allow folks to see that there are serious risks threatening our world, and the result of failure to take action could provide dire consequences for our planet.
