It's an anonymous diary from a girl who died of drug abuse in the late 60's. It's about peer pressure and expermintation with drugs that leads eventually to addiction and death. The title comes from the Jefferson Airplane Song

Messing with alcohol & drugs doesn't make for a good life. This book scared me when I read it as a teen. She becomes psychotic from effects of drugs.

its a journal of a girl who's life is on the downslide but she still continues to give to the journal and record her ideas and thoughts as she goes toward oblivian.

not to take drugs and when you need help turn to your parents for help and if you don't want to go to your parents go to a close friend. tell on people if they pressure you and they can get in trouble. don't talk to strangers.
