It's common around the world, Sox!

The US, Canada, Mexico, Cuba, Bahamas, Bermuda and other North American-area countries use it. So does all of Europe except Iceland.

Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay and half of Brazil goes to Daylight Time, as well as the Falklands.

Egypt and Namibia follow it in Africa. Five of the six states of Australia have Daylight Time, as well as New Zealand.

Israel, Syria, Lebanon and Iraq have Daylight Time.

Many (but not all) tropical countries pass on it. So too do many Moslem countries, where it would be inconvenient during their holy fasting month of Ramadan.

The most unusual excuse for not going to Daylight Time comes from japan, where it is argued that an extra hour of light in the evenings might keep school children from doing their homework!

P.S. From your friends here in Yankees country, Good Luck, in limited quantities!

I have not got a list but I do know that the United Kingdom and France have daylight saving, I believe it was introduced during the second world war to give farmers more usable daylight hours for working as there was a blackout when it was night time in case of air raids, I would have thought that it was not necessary anymore.
