I just realized I have a test tomorrow, and I do not understand what the whole chapter is about. I need an A on this really bad because I can't afford to have my grade any lower. Any tips on how to focus? Because I need motivation. I just sit here and read or play games or chat all day without accomplishing any work at all. Thanks to those who answer.

it's hard to focus with the computer in your room and so many options..maybe try getting out of your room to another area in the house...even if it is reading the chapter while taking a bath...no disturbances that way ...

Shut off the tv and any other things that could make you not focus. And if you have brothers and sisters that bother you, tell them to stop or go in another room to study in. And when your studing try to keep your eyes on the work not on anything else.

I found it more focus when study is smoking while doing it

do it bit by bit, try to take little breaks, not get bored. but overall do what you need to do, even if it's five minutes at a time.
