why do so many asian women don't find fellow asian men attractive? and why aren't asian men feeling the same?

The 2nd question means , "Why aren't asian men so infatuated by dating outside?" These questions are mainly aimed at fellow asian women. and if you're an asian guy, you can answer too.

I am speaking mainly about the asian american women who were possibly adopted into the western society..some of them may be influenced by the western men they are around more and see more in magazines and on television. Also western men tend to find asian women attractive. Asian men (in the western culture) arent usually depicted as masculine and hot-shot, so that could contribute.

I think it's the height. I like tall Asian guys, which is not very common. But Venom is right, the majority of us prefer Asians.

Because we get along well? Because many Asian girls have a cute personality that many Asian guys like? Not a guy, I'm not sure.

Tim... we were not adopted by western society. Our culture doesn't run in our blood and it's not ingrained in our genes. We didn't give up Asian culture; it wasn't there to begin with. Asian culture is drastically different from Asian American culture. We have our own jargon, a different etiquette, and for a significant amount of people, a different religion. Asians in Asia know we're not the same, I thought you and the majority of America should know too.

I thoroughly do no longer agree. i will think of of two different non-white races specifically, who're taken care of a techniques worse than Asians in maximum places of u.s.. and that i've got lived quite some places. that's no longer an insult to what you talk with as "your human beings" if a girl desires to marry outdoors of her very own race. For men, attraction is a societal and biological thing. Men tend to subconsciously base who they find attractive later in life through their early relationships with family members. Thus, they find attributes of asian women to be much more appealing.

However, the sex drive closes until the teen years (which is when a person starts to become influenced by society). Seeing women outside of their ethnicities on TV, in magazines, and in movies doesn't sway their subconscious that much.

Women however, develop differently. They start noticing boys at a pretty early age, and along with this is the society around them. American born asian girls start noticing boys around the time they start immersing themselves in the culture around them. Caucasian men on TV, the girly magazines they read, movies, etc. Because this coincides with their sexual development, they start to base their attraction more on their cultural influences rather than their biological, subconscious ones.

It is all about personal preference. Its about where you grew up, who you hung out or hang out with. How do you like your women or men. For example, some people like real slim girls, where asians usually fall under or real curvacious type women in which other races compared to asians have a lot more of. I am not being disrespectful, just honest truth.

Interesting indeed! I am too is Asian. I've dated mostly Asian girls as well.. its just a preference for me i guess. I have this special bond with them...easier to relate to, similar if not same values and their exotic looks was probably what does it for me. ;-)

Dated a white girl once in my life.. she was fun and all but I can only see her as a gf material nothing more than that. When i decide to settle down..chances are, I will most likely married into my own kind - Asian girl. No offense to non-Asian out there.

Bottom line is, if u are happy with who u are and the person u are with then it shouldnt matter what color skin he/she is. Be happy of who u are and cherish ur moments w/ ur love ones and try not to forget ur roots along the way.

Most asian women like to fit in with the media so they are heavily influenced by western culture and particularly, how much white men have to offer them. Asian men aren't unattractive, they just don't have enough confidence which isn't telling the asian girl that they can be protected. Since this is reoccuring so much is society, asian men in turn have a desire to date women other than asian, just to prove they can. Personally, I think that our outer desires are disabling us from learning how to love. White guys just have to get the asian girls. Asian guys are a success if they're dating white girls. Can't everybody just learn to float beyond the surface?

anyhow, i dont (and try not to) feel negative towards asian females, cuz there r arguably very pretty and very smart and usually kind, regardless of wat anyone might say... that is not to say i dont feel attracted to latinas or whites, but asian gals, whether anthropologically or whatever, is my preference and to which i'll try to stay loyal to

anyhow, to each his or her own; may every AM find happiness for someone true to him (and for everyone else of course)

but if i may do a lil ranting: its too bad AMs are often shy and stuff, and sure we need to take the initiative, but i hope every AF gives an AM at least a decent chance before writing them off forever

well, i'm asian. this is only my opinion. i think that asian girls like men out of our race because of some asian men lack thinking out of the box i guess. the thing is with asian men is that they are perceived as really smart, like blonds are dumb (ex.), and most asian men are really shy i think. they are really really shy. me, i don't really care for what color the opposite sex is. i like an honest guy with a bright personality and i can care less what other people think. for some asian parents, they want their kids to marry someone of their same ethnicity, and so the asian men usually follow those etiquettes more. it really depends on the parents if you think about it. my parents have taught me about diversity and they don't care who i date as long as they are good guys with good qualities. i have dated several asian boys and they were sweet but like i said...they are really shy. the ones i've been with though. but to sum it up, i think that asian males are cute too, but i just like personality. thats all i care about.

The media and American culture. But it's true, alot of asian girls only go for asians. It's just that the majority of asian and white couples are asian female and white male.
