Plie(plee-ay) - a bend of the knee. Basically you stand in one of the 5 positions and either bend your knees slightly (demi plie) or until your heels come up and knees are over toes...except in 2nd (grande plie).
Pirouette(peer-o-wet) - a turn. You turn with one foot on the ground in releve (on the ball of your foot) while the other leg is bent with that foot at the knee of the standing leg(known as working leg)
Tendu(tawn-dew) - you stand in fifth and push your foot against the floor until its out in front of you (toes pointed), bring it back to 5th, then go to the side, return, to the back, and return
Degage(day-ga-zha) - same as tendu except when your foot/leg is fully extended, you raise your foot up a couple of inches.
Grand Battement(graw-nd Bought-mon-t) - same as tendu, but you bring your leg up as high as you can get it, instead of keeping it on the floor or raised only a few inches.
Pas de Chat(paw de shaw) - you kind of leap to the side and bring the leading leg up, then the other leg, they meet in the air, then your bring the leading leg down first.
Grande jete(graw-nd zha-tay) - it's basically a split leap.

Easy means different things for different people. All ballet moves require strength, grace and flexibility. Personally I think nothing in ballet is easy. In a plie, which other posters described, you have to engage the muscles in your legs, keep your knees over your toes, hold your turnout, don't roll in your feet, keep your center pulled up, keep your arms graceful, keep your upper body tall and lifted. Doing a "bend of the knees" is a lot more than just bending your knees. It is true that plie, tendu, degage, frappe, ronde de jambe are the basic ballet steps, they require proper technique and hard work to execute them properly.

well SINCE YOU ASKED:
you want to move so i will give you some really easy cool stuff to do.
balance' = step out with one foot bending the other behind the ankle, put the foot behind ankle down and lift the one in front up !point your foot that you just picked up and place infront of the now standing leg......place that foot in fron tback down and left the back once more .... this step can be done in any direction alternaing legs one two three, two two three ....
down up down down up down...
now with your feet in fith position bend both legs and jump and land only on one =thats a season
the step the girl did down the yellow brick road? remember that where one leg was developed in front then she took a big step to the side and atlernated her feet ? thats was called a cake walk thats a very old step.
pique' turns are the easiest= you put your leg to the side and push off with the leg you just left behind.... the cartoon misfit toys in the wintertime they do it ...mr freeze mizer and mr heat mizer both do it.
hmm lunges with circling the arms is nice
there are alot... you should purchace balanchines book they have great pics and terminology too.
