Ok well just got a new sports bra 2 weeks ago to wear around the house. When I bought it, it fit me perfectly. I put my bra on very carefully, but now, it is so stretched that it doesnt even fit around the bottom band part. It is a Champion brand bra, so it was pretty expensive. Is there any way I can stop my bra from stretching or fix it? It's real uncomfortable. well, thanks!

Are you hand washing it in a mild detergent and drip drying it? Washing machines, warm water, dryers will all weaken the elastic. If you've followed those instructions and it still stretched out, why not write to Champion and tell them about it. If you have your receipt, they may replace it.

I think you should return it. Champion is usually a good brand, but that's unacceptable. One think that really makes elastic deteriorate is drying bras in the dryer. When you get your new bra, hang it up to dry.

I'm guessing you washed and dried it in the machine. Bras should always be hand washed and line dried because machine washing and drying will destroy the elasticity.
