Ok, so Daylight savings was early this year, but never the less! Now the clocks are one hour forward. I usually take my birth control pill at 9pm, so does this mean I have to start taking it at 8pm now? Or does an hour not really affect it? I'm kinda confused. Please only answer if you know the answer!

It wont make a difference but I would still just take it at your same usual time so you wont get off your schedule and forget to take it!!

Most pills are ok for you to adjust the time but a couple of hours. Some up to 12 hours. Best thing to do is check the pack. It should give guidance on how long you can be late with taking the next pill. Does it come with a book?

If not, try looking it up on the website of the producer who normally have PDF copies of the leaflets.

An hour really doesn't matter, but if you are worried, move the time 15 minutes different per week, so take it at 8:15 today and each day for a week. Next Sunday, take it at 8:30 for a week, etc until it's at the time you want.....or just change the time all at once and use additional protection for a couple days.

When taking any medication, 1 hour of time difference does not make any difference on how the medication works. So, you can take it at your normal time of 9.

An hour one way or the other does not make a difference.

The time will not effect when you take your pill unless you completely change it all together......if you take it before you go to be just continue to do so,,,,daylight savings time will not change anything.

An hour or two isn't going to make a big difference. You'll be just fine.

Yes, you should take it at 8pm now because of daylight savings. They moved foward the clocks, they didn't move foward time itself.
