Dominic Rhodes was a malcontent and he had to go. That said, there are literally dozens of FA running backs that can take 5-8 carries off Addai's load.

Addai was a rookie, so there isn't any doubt the Colts could do it again by finding a late round gem in the draft this year as well. I won't speculate as the Colts, drafting last so the sure picks will not be there, will take the best athlete on the draft boards each round.

And, if worst comes to worst, Tony Dungy could allow Peyton Manning to throw 49 more TD passes and abandon the run if he had to.

They brought RB Dee Dee Dorsey in form Cincinatti last year to fill the void that Rhodes' depature would leave. But wait! Let's not forget about James Mungro. Eventhough he hasn't played a down of football in three seasons (sidelined by injury every year), he still poses a great threat to opposing defenses. While Addai relies on his strength to get yards, Mungro has the moves and a quick first step. Remember he ran alover Philly back in 2002 for 114 yards in 28 carries!!! And that was when the Eagles were contenders

THey could draft somebody in the 4th or 5th round, i don't think they trade for anybody ( they could have kept rhodes) so i say they draft sombody again, two young running backs will be good for a long time because even though addai started rhodes carried a lot and if they have two young guys they could play like auburn with ronnie brown and cadillac williams

what's it matter?

Mungro's going to be back... he's a fullback..

We'll keep the 2-back system... but mungro's going to be the other back because that's the fullback's spot...

w00t for Mungro!!! I love him :) he surprises a lot of the defenders when they meet up with him.. GO MUNGRO GO!!
