The comptuer might be fried. Hopefully it's a software issue and not a hardware one. If it's software related just reinstall the operating system. If it's hardware related you might need to contact the manufacturer and get an estimate to see how it can be fixed and how expensive.

Try removing the battery and unplug from the wall socket. Wait about a Minute and put eveything back and see what it do. Also, it may be time to replace your CMOS Battery. Your manual should tell how. But, on bottom it will be under a plate you remove (2 screws) or it may be under the battery. When the battery is removed look for some Sticker looking things one be about 2 inches long and about 3/4 inches wide. This where the battery may be. Pay attention as how the wires go, it plug only one way but easier when you try the correct way first. Keep dirt off the sticker so it stay when you put it back.

There is a high chance that the Hard drive has a problem.

Performa the Hard drive self test if available for the computer by entreing the BIOS and check the hard drive.

If the test fails, you would need to replace the hard drive.

Hold down the power button on your laptop until it shuts down completely. Wait a good 10 seconds and turn it back on. Does that help?
