does anybody have any idea how fast superman could fly?
i would like to know his speed in mph or km/h.. thanks

faster than the speed of light. the speed of light is approximately 186,282.397 miles per second, or 670,616,629.384 miles per hour, or almost one foot per nanosecond.

Superman used to be able to fly at the speed of light, but I don’t think he can do that any more, not since the DC reboot back in the 80’s. He is still ‘faster than a speeding bullet’; and since most high powered bullets will go supersonic, he can probably do at least Mach 2, twice the speed of sound, or around 2200 mph at sea level.

Since the Crisis on Infinite Earths, the DC universe was retconned so as to make time travel much more difficult that it had been before. That being the case, Superman can no longer fly at the speed of light, and he can't fly as fast as the Flash can run. But he's still pretty darn fast.
