Ze Mean Bean Cafe in Fells Point is fantastic! It is a very cozy restauraunt that usually has some local live music during dinner hours. They feature eastern european cuisine that is absolutely fantastic. I hadn't eaten many eastern european dishes before going here, but I was amazed to find out how good everything was. Hope you like it!

nacho mama's - canton (mexican)
claddagh's pub - canton (varied menu)
regi's - federal hill (varied menu)
bluestone - timonium (varied menu)
tio pepe - mount vernon-ish (high end spanish restaurant, but menu is varied, plus great sangria)
too bad you don't like sushi because sushi hana in towson is awesome! (pretty good japanese food too.)
