Why is Michael Jackson's skin white?

His skin is light because he has Vitiligo which is a skin disease that attacks and destroys the pigment in the skin!

The official story he released is that he suffers from a genetic condition in which the pigment in his skin over time will break down or fail. Kind of like other degenerative problems, except this one affects skin pigment. This is most likely to be the case.

The important thing to remember, is that he's Michael Jackson. At no point would he have thought, "Maybe no-one'll notice if the world's biggest pop star has a change in skin colour." lol. No matter how crazy he's got, it's not something you would do hoping people wouldn't notice, criticise or comment.

Finally, I don't know if you can get an operation that changes your skin colour! Seems very far fetched.

Its called Monobenzone (Monobenzyl hydroquinone ether) it permanently destroys melanocites (the cells that promote skin color).

There is also hydroquinone 2% in the forms of topical creams.

As of what he used to bleach it no one knows for sure, but from the fact that hes always hiding away from the sun, I suspect it wasn't hydroquinone 2 %.

People who work in chemical labs although white can have skin discoloration also, resulting from the handling of depigmenting agents.

There are several substances that can temporarily bleach skin, such as arbutin, and vitamin c in excess combined with L-gluthathione.

As of the illness he claims to suffer from (vitiligo) I don't think its true as you can see how he gradually changed skin tone over the years. Vitiligo is characterized for the elimination of the melanocites by cells in the body as they are identified as foreign cells. Thus the result would occur in discoloration patches, not gradually.

Plus, how many people have had their skin color changed? In some countries such as Jamaica, this is a scary phenomenon, same as Africa. Just Look at lil Kim, shes definitely getting the Michael Jackson look.

He was black untill about 29.

He was called big nose by his fam when he was younger and got it narrowed - a white man nose! - when he was 26.

At 27 he got another nose job and permantely tattoed eyeliner to his eyes.

At 29 he does another surgeury and the guy blotches...within half year he is white and blames it on vitiligo. He was also suposedly allegedly taking female hormones to lose facial hair and mantain his 12 year old voice.

At 32 he tries to be a man again gets a chin job - butt chin.... - and gets a a really manly jugged sqaure jawline. Oh and fuks up his nose into tiny triangles.

At 34 he goes pink and wears a fake nose - whooppee!!!!

At 38 he does his jaw again more square and removes the butt in his chin!!!

At 41 he redoes the chin and jaw so its small and cute, redoes the nose and cheeks too. He now looks like a 21 yr old all over again (white this time), but he also kinda looks like the joker.

Oh and later on he drops is jaw and gets FACIAL HAIR???? anyhow it just gets worse and worse from here on and he ends up looking like Ari from the Planet of the Apes.

he has a skin disorder caused by the liver which effects the pigment,color of your skin.in most people it is a slow process that leaves blotchy white color mark that spreed over time all over your body until your all white.a friend of mine has it.he's all blotchy.but with mike or Michael he has money for laser surgery to quicken the process so he wont be so blotchy.an he doesn't look that bad.my friend look as if he has birth marks down the side of his face from his cheek bone that run down his neck on one side of his face.an one arm is white as the other is dark. this disorder is more noticeable in dark skin person than in white skin persons. so it very understanding why someone would wont laser surgery to quicken the process.he is famous an in front of the camera allot ,everyone wont's to look good in front of the camera don't we? so does he.

Originally he had a skin condition that I can't remember the name of, wherein he was losing pigment in his skin in certain spots. Basically he'd look like he was spotted white. So, being a celebrity, he decided to just go FULL white, since there is no cure for the disease. Of course the drugs he was taking to become white were illegal, because he imported them from some far-off country. From there he pretty much went crazy.

He claims to have a skin disorder, but it is common knowledge that he has had an excessive amount of plastic surgery, so more than likely he has been cosmetically lightened. He has changed his look so drastically on purpose it is hard to actually attribute his loss of color to a skin disease. If you go and look at his photos through the years you can see the alterations he has had done. Plus he is just plain bonkers anyhow so who would really know.

5. because he want to live out that song he made( doesn't matter if your black or white) he looks white but his birth certificate says black.....just made that one up
