Depending on which Port Orleans you are staying at. I have stayed at Port Orleans French Quarters and it was very nice. It was small so it was really easy to walk around the premisis. This June we are going to the Riverside and I have heard a ton of good things about it. Can't wait. If you want to see pictures of the different hotels and read about them then go to allearsnet.com. This is a great site to find out any info on Disney.

We love the Port Orleans. It's small, so no room is too far away from the food court or buses. You share a bus with the Riverside section, so it takes a little longer to get to the parks, but the Port Orleans side usually gets picked up and let off first, so that's a nice plus. Have a great time. I'll be there in 48 days!

I stayed at Port Orleans a couple of years ago, and absolutely had a blast. I highly recommend it. There is a huge pool, a great dining hall for sit down food, as well as a food court. You will have a great time.

If you have any question, go to www.disneyworld.com and you can do a resort comparison. Also, I recommend the Birnbaum's guide to WDW. There are lots of guide books out there, but that is the one that we have found works best for us. Whatever resort you decide you can't go wrong. I have stayed at resorts at all levles, and have never had a bad time. Make sure no matter what you stay on the grounds, so you can take advantage of the many perks for resort guests.

Have a great trip!!

I've never been to the Port Orleans "French Quarter", but have been to the Port Orleans "Riverside". It is very nice and I would highly recommend staying there.

I'm sure that they are both the same quality, just differ in apperance.

Yes, both Port Orleans and Riverside are very nice hotels. The dragon slide at the pool is a favorite among guests. The food and shopping are also great and there are a lot of activities for guests to take advantage of on the resort property.
