Cartoonist moves to daily slot
Monday, February 20, 2006

Cayman Net News readers are in for a treat throughout the entire week from now on. They will be pleased to hear that our regular Friday cartoonist Clovis Brown will be taking a turn at the goings on in the Cayman Islands each week day.

Fans of the Friday funny, will be able to enjoy the comedic renditions of our irreverent cartoonist every time they pick up a copy of Cayman Net News, Monday through Friday.

From the Police Commissioner to the Leader of Government Business no one is safe from the caustic capers of Clovis’ pen.

A well-known and pre-eminent political cartoonist in his native Jamaica, Clovis is also a regular feature in the Jamaica Observer.

Since he began scribing for Cayman Net News in September of last year, he has captured many of our politicians and well known local faces, bringing a lighter side to the news of the day.

“Sometimes we need a cartoonist perspective when it comes to news and as our readers have been enjoying Clovis’ view of life here we felt is was a good idea to feature his work everyday and hopefully bring a few more smiles to Cayman,” said Wendy Ledger, Associate Editor of Net News.
