Wow, somebody tooks the words right out of my mouth, kobrajesus hit that on the spot! I would have to say that he's definately top 2. The Saints were able to run a lot of their plays because Bush commanded so much attention and respect that teams had no other option but to acount for him on the field. Those who didn't usually got burned for it! With that in mind, I guess my top 5 would look like this(no specific order):
Reggie Bush
Marques Colston
Maurice Jones Drew
Devin Hester
Vince Young

1. DeMeco Ryans - immediate impact, best FA of all my IDP fantasy leagues. If only the Texans had an answer like that at #1 pick....
2. Joseph Addai - main rushing cog in a magic Colt playoff climb
3. Marques Colston - from late round sleeper to wake-up call for NFL talent scouts
4. Reggie Bush - top Saint receiver on a confident playoff run
5. Devin Hester - record-book welcome to the NFL

Honorable Mention:
Maurice Jones-Drew - should have made a Top 6
Vince Young - inconsistent but definitely worth wondering about
Laurence Maroney - good enough to retire Corey Dillon at season's end
Mike Bell - and you thought Colston was a sleeper?
Nick Mangold - sent Jeff Mawae packing after a playoff showing

Hell yeah man I agree with you the people in New Orleans treat him like a good and stuff, like if he was the main reason New Orleans made it to the NFC Championship he's good but come one people think that without him the Saints are crap the only guy who the Saints would be crap without is Drew Brees enough said.

Anyways my top rookies are.....

1. VY (Now theres a guy who is really productive for his team)

2. Devin Hester (Another guy who is productive for his team he has won games for the Bears, for example the game against Arizona)

3. Maurice Jones Drew (he'll kick Reggie Bush's *** anyday!!)

4.Mark Anderson (Almost broke Javon Kearse's record for most sacks for a rookie with 12 1/2)

5.Demeco Ryans (Defensive rookie of the year, enough said)

Former rookies are those...
1. Marques Colston
2. Maurice Jones-Drew
3. Devin Hester
4. Mike Anderson
5. A.J. Hawk

Vince Young is good...but I'm not sure I would put him with top 5 rookies...he's a winner though, that's for sure. Joseph Addai was outstanding...but A.J. Hawk and Mike Anderson...hell even DeMeco Ryans and Ernie Sims should be ahead of him. You gave no love to the defense, although I think Reggie Bush would be #6 if I went that far...

Because he makes more playmaking plays than Young,Vick,Harrison, and LT, put together. He won the Heisman, which he respectfully earned, his college team was #1 all year before getting screwed in Jan. He aint overated as much as V. Young is.

1. Reggie Bush - Name sells tickets
2. Joseph Addai - West Side
3. Michael Huff - Reminds me of a young Ed Reed.
4. Thomas Howard - The Next Joey Porter.
5. Devin Hester - Better KR/PR than Deion Sanders.

1. Jay Cutler- comes into a game half-way through the season and plays really good
2. Colston- comes in under a new team, and looks expirienced
3. Young- leads the Titans to some comebacks and OT wins
4. Hester- R U KIDDIN ME?! He comes in his first year and returns kick after kick after kick
5. Joseph Addia- YAY! SB champ, who cares, they didn't resign him. the only reason he's on the list is because i didn't have another rookie to put on

On offense:
1. Colston
2. Marcus McNeill
3. Reggie Bush
4. Jones-Drew
5. Nick Mangold

Vince is still gonna be a bust, just watch. Defenses are going to get to know him and figure out how to get into his head, he won't be smart enough to know how to adapt, and he'll never be a good passer again. Sophomore slump big time.

And Hester has to actually pick a real position before I'll give him any love.

Don't be a moron, there is no way Bush us OVE. The guy is a factor, his speed commmands attention on the field, the reason for the Saints success was because you had to double Reggie, thats why all those guys were open all the time. Get a clue buddy.

honestly he's hyped up as a working returned. All of those fancy strikes he did in college scampering around to make something out of no longer something would not artwork with the fee of NFL defenses. many of the time whilst he tried that stuff he lost yards. Deuce does the heavy lifting for the Saints whilst it comprises working the ball using fact he's extra confusing to deliver down. in case you have watched the Saints play whilst they have given the ball to Reggie down in the crimson zone (working play no longer bypass) he relatively has no longer produced a good number of something. He the two gets filled or an arm address brings him down. yet howdy, the media hype in this guy is astounding. It just about makes one choose to throw up.
