try this x^2= 0.340M times 1.70 X 10^9
you should your concentration like this

once you have x, divide (x/0.340) times 100%. If it is below 5% your approximation is good if it is above then it is wrong and you must use the quadratic formula unfortunately. using (0.340 - x)
