Well, the real question is who would be the worst to deal with after you magically bring them to join you stranded on the desert island? They're just having a good day, and then suddenly, poof, they teleport to a desert island and are stranded there with you and no food or water? So the real question is either a.) who will not get as mad about this? and b.) which one would you prefer to die, as you're really choosing which person you'd prefer to strand on a desert island? Anyway, I'd go with my best friend.

Part 1: I wouldn't wish that on my mother and my father would be more help.
Part 2: If I was married I would have my wife because I think married people should feel that they are best friends. Mine would be.
But since I'm not married, there's this hot chick down the block...

well, if i was there it wouldn't be a desert island anymore would it? in my opinion that cancels out your question and saves me from having to choose between bad and worse. my parents were both pretty abusive, each in their own charming way.

I would definitely bring my Mother along for company... although it would be nice to take my Father, hell, if I've gotta suffer I mind as well make him suffer too. lol.
