kinda a scary movie type that takes place in a city so a more up scale kinda role so i am not sure what type of clothes to get like should i get for shoes or skirst n dresses and such

You could try borrowing from friends, or go to the Goodwill or Salvation Army. If it's some hard to find item, try eBay. Good luck.

if you're on a low budget you should try going to trendy thrift stores in your area. there are a lot of them in the area that i live in and they always have pretty cool stuff. i don't know if they would have these in your area but the ones i like to go to are taxi taxi, leopard lounge and buffalo exchange (i think this one is nationwide).
it also depends on what kind of movie it is and what the characters are like and what style you want them to have. maybe you should give a little more info on that to be able to suggest more.

Goodwill & Salvation Army stores have more clothing than you ever need and very inexpensive!
