I know all of the main bands but I am looking for some less popular ones that were good. Like Rough Cutt, Southgang, Kik Tracee, etc. I was born in the late 80s so I didnt grow up w/ the music but I love it. And all the stations today that play 80s rock just play the main ones--Poison, Bon Jovi, ACDC, Scorpions, etc. Please list as many bands as you could, but you do not have 2 mention the obvious bands. Also I like some metal but not death or thrash metal so you dont have to include those.

baton rouge - "walks like a woman" song is AWESOME!
europe (i LOVED their song "superstitious'! in fact, that whole album it was on was great!)
diving for pearls (song - "gimme your good lovin' " was great!)
d'molls - "all i want" song was kool!
electric boys - really loved their "all lips & hips" song
tnt; faster pussycat; ugly kid joe; danger danger; alias; extreme (pretty well-known); giant; mr. big; damn yankees; kix; babylon a.d.; lynch mob (well-known); nelson; nitro; bang tango; pretty boy floyd; roxx gang; bulletboys; black n blue; bonham; steelheart; britny fox; tora tora; vain; trixter; jackyl; saigon kick; xyz; steve vai (guitar virtuoso-dunno if he'd fit in with what u want; VERY well-known); vinnie vincent invasion; stryper (pretty well-known); living colour; king's x (dunno if they fit in w/what u want).
