When I was 14 I looked like I was 18 or 19 years old, so I tried to start looking my age and apparently I succeded a little too much because now I am 17 years old and I "look really young". I have no problem with how I look, but I am going to college next year and I dont want to look out of place. Are they any tips for looking older or more mature or more sophisticated?

For eg: sarah hyland is now 21 and he or she sounds like 15 :p

Fact from fiction, truth from diction. Print this out and save it. 15 years from now you will wonder how you even fathomed the ideal. YOU will hope you still look younger than you are. Right now, just enjoy it. I bet in a year it will all change. BUT.....if you are hell bent on giving Farther Time what he will eventually steal from you later without mercy. Wear sweaters, or long sleeve button op shirts. Put your hair up in a semi-bun. And keep the skirt below the knee or wear wool or cotton slacks and dump the low ride jeans and certainly don't have no thong strap showing.

Put your leg up on a bench when waiting about. Lean over and rest your left forearm on the leg. Place your right fist down onto your right hip. Hold the left arm of your spectacles close to the lens, in your left hand and allow to dangle across the front of the knee. Raise your head up and to the right and gaze into the distance.

When you can perfect this, you will truly be sophisticated

I'm in college and most girls don't wear a lot of makeup. Studying is top priority, but a little mascara and eyeliner and a nice lipstick or lipgloss will make you look great as you head the door to class. Good luck!

I would say ditch all your t-shirt that have a huge logo or funny saying splattered across the front. As people grow up they tend not to want to be a walking billboard. And go with more neutral solid colors.

Try wearing glasses. I think you are nuts though...I'm 37 and wish I look like I did when I was in my 20's. You should be so happy go look young. Enjoy it...cuz it aint gonna last.

all i can say is that u should change the way u dress...instead of maybe always going toward the relaxed look, u should try an jazz it up a little this way u'll always look older.

I think it's probably not possible to accomplish in a short period of time. It might help if you join clubs that are about really serious subjects

There is no sense in trying to look younger or older. i have always looked older than my age and i often felt out place, but it dosen't bother me anymore. don't worry about feeling out of place cause you look younger, just be yourself.
